Powerhouse duo Courtney Simmons and Emma Montalvo, under the alias Gem & Tauri,have been involved in the EDM scene for over 10 years, gaining a love for the houseand techno genre. The duo brings an unfound charisma and chemistry to theirperformances and production with a groovy blend of melodic, tech, deep, andprogressive house.

Gem & Tauri have found their home with Ophelia Records, the label of the musicallegend Seven Lions. In 2020, they went to work on their first EP, ‘All You Need,’ to bringbeautiful melodic vocals with thumping bass lines and feel-good sounds. After nearly 3years of establishing and fine-tuning their sound, the duo is set to release their secondEP, ‘Crownless,’ out May 4th, 2023. The ‘Crownless EP’ builds off their success fromtheir first headline tour in winter 2022 and sees them refining their club and festivalfriendly style.

Gem & Tauri are currently teasing the EP heavily at their recent shows. They are on tourthis spring 2023 with Seven Lions and have several festivals planned for the fall. Theyhave performed at legendary venues such as the Tacoma Dome, LA State HistoricPark, Red Rocks, The Gorge, and Brooklyn Mirage as well as their EDC MainStageappearance in 2022. This year promises more festival appearances and new music inthe works.
